Wow!!! Your given away a Dodge pickup!? HOT DAMN! ;)

Warsawdaddy the generous man that he is built this wagon for the Chisholm Trail Hunt. I want to thank him for such a neat idea for a garden decor. I thank you very very much. By the way I think it increased in weight by the time I got home. I have had several people want to buy it but I said no way!wagonCTH.webp

You are welcome - It certainly is not professional, but?

I think that covered wagon would look great by a garden shed or flower bed or just out in the yard somewhere. The top hoops are removeable so it will go in a trunk ok.Weighs about 50lbs.The young lady is for size comparison only.I caught her and her family just getting ready to get in the pool so I had her jump up there. She is 30yr old has a 9yr old daughter and a 6yr old son and a husband that could chew railroad spikes in half. She's about 5'1". The wood is green oak,had to get it from the sawmill, that's why it's heavy, but will weather great and last for years except for the top cover.I couldn't find the right material, need lightweight canvas or 'levi' type material,so whoever wins it might want to make a heavier top sometime. The present top is just made from a sheet.Just hem it and run heavy twine thru it.The sheet should last a couple of yrs.I have to confess that I plagerized the design from a larger one in the area.

So the Dodge isn't the prize? :( ;) j/k

Looks awesome WSD...I bet it'll look good in someones rock garden

Hanging sure does wierd things to the body. :o :o

OK, just for a bit of info as to distance. From the center of Caldwell to the Fairfield Inn in Ponca City is exactly 54 miles and to the Holiday Inn is 55 miles.

This is taking Hubbard Road which is the 2nd stoplight north of the Fairfield and going west till reaching I-35 and then north till the U.S. 81/South Haven Exit. Then west about 15 miles to Caldwell. There is a little jog of left at the stop sign just on the north edge of South Haven and traveling about a 1/2 mile before turning right again.

Hey Stoney and Burdie,

Forgot to ask...do we need our passports to get into Caldwell? LOL ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hurry up CTH!!

No. But don't forget a compass and a map. Over there all the roads look the same. LOL J/K

BTW, a bit of advise...I found that Cingular or AT&T cell phones are very iffy after about 4-5 mi west of I-35.

Yes but remember Stoney smoke signals work very well for communication. ;D We do have wireless around the School. :o

Forgot to renew my International Driver's License. But, I always carry my passport when I travel. You never know when you might have to divert to the casinos, lose your shirt, and have to make a quick getaway...LOL ;D ;D ;D ;D

Actually, I also carry my trusty portable Garmin GPS with me...it says from here in Manassas, VA...it's 1,340.2 miles to the Fairfield Inn in Ponca City...I think that's taking the "northern" route via I-64. Not sure which way I'm going to take yet....figure I'll decide that on the day that I start out...LOL ::) ::) This contraption also reads books to me................unfortunately, it doesn't bring me a drink...LOL
