Is anyone staying at the hotels in Caldwell for the hunt?
We are trying to decide if we should stay there or drive the 120 mi. each day.
What to do...what to do

I first made a reservation in Ponca City. Then decided that was tooooo far to travel twice a day.
Then I made a reservation in Caldwell. But sadly it looked like a laundromat, sooooooo....
Then I made a reservation in South Haven at the Economy Inn. 12-14 miles from town and $56.35 a night.

I think some of the others are going to South Haven, too, but don't have details.

Well, I've now made my reservation for South Haven, too. With Noodle's post (HI NOODLE! ) I figured I'd best hurry up and get it done before all the rooms are gone.

A double runs 2 bucks more, just fyi. ($58 and change)

I don't remember who said this - but the hunt last year really was like the "family reunion that you wanted to go to" (and didn't wanna leave). I'm really lookin' forward to this October!

I did. And I meant it!

Guess the Economy Inn South Haven is the place I'll be making my reservations too. Last year I was fortunate enough to be staying where a bunch of other hunters were and we had lots of fun before and after the hunting activities. Hope to have as much fun this year as last.

Campfire sounds good!

Bran...I don't think it's too late to sign up for the hunt. Isn't there like a couple more weeks left?

I am staying at the Caldwell Motel on 81 .......Noodle thinks it looks like a laundrymat.......but I told Nana that after a couple of bottles of wine it will look like the Hilton.....

I think Borninok said he was doing some traveling. Could be wrong though. Hope nothing happened to him I am looking forward to meeting him and buying him an adult beverage in October.
