Ebay will make sure you're refunded, no worries. After you get your $ back, be sure to leave the "seller" negative feedback.

Something like that recently happened to me with another Tesoro I bought... Seller dragged his feet for days without shipping, then contacted me saying he doesn't know how to pack it and is having FedEx do it.. a couple more days and contacted me again saying that he just discovered it's damaged, and is refunding my $, which he did. If he hadn't though, ebay would've stepped in and refunded me. They're pretty good about protecting the buyer, and in some (rare) cases, the seller too.

I am still gonna be looking for a used Deleon , but that is like pulling hen's teeth , just not many come up for sale ... I have been following several sites and Ebay for months now , and you just don't see them .......... I may have to look at other Tesoro machines that I think will fit the bill ..............

Recently purchased a Red Racer, mainly for beach use. I used it for the first time this morning.
Very favorable impression. Found a few coins in the first 2 hrs.
The last hour I hunted with the DeLeon.
Wow.....the DeLeon rocks.
It was like I was holding the "daddy of the house".

I decided I would be too long waiting on a Deleon and I wanted to get my second machine before the farmers here start the harvest .... Need a little time to "beep and dig" and get acclimated to the new machine ..... Just hope this purchase goes better than the last one did !!!!

That's OK - negotiating is half the fun and I've no shortage of Tesoros here..

Got 2 Vaqueros already; didn't have the SunRay headphones though. Was just hoping to get a deal on those, and sell the Vaquero. SunRays are just a different "brand" of Killer B's, which are headphones I really like.

You did well - I'm sure you'll be happy with that combo!

Congrats on the Vaquero! I had one for about a year or so and sold it in order to buy the Outlaw when it first came out. Both machines were very nice.

All this talk about the Vaquero has got my attention.
What advantage would it have over the DeLeon, being that it has 4 more kHz? I'm thinking depth, perhaps?

Also, to manually ground balance, do you just turn the knob? Or, do you also have to pump coil?
