The Greaser Files

Well toad where is your banana car why haven't you bragged about that one? Lol

How do you tell someone you found one of these without sounding like a smartass?

person: "What are you finding?"
me: "I found a monkey driving a banana car."
person: "If you don't want to tell me then fine.... F you smartass!"

Yes... a monkey driving a banana car is unusual.... but it just doesn't give the same rush as a walking liberty half.

LOL I would just keep it in your find pouch and when someone asks if you found any treasure get a really crazy look and pull it out and say yes my precious.

I lied when I said I wasn't going to get out today.... After the boys got dropped off at gun safety I found a house in Finlayson built in 1914. Not much.... junk ring (thought I hit first gold), 1946 wheatie, and a 1916D wheatie. The 1916D is fairly uncommon. That's two days without a silver.... I getting antsy. :)

Good half hour today at an old rectory, 100+ yrs old. First ever skeleton key, 1919 wheat, sterling ring, dog pendant, clad

The good stuff from the last two outings

a total of 7 rings so far this year

Good finds T S. I'm in my 25th yr detecting and I've never found a 'skeleton' key. Other keys? Yep, around 150 of them. A few yrs back I was in a ghost town in Montana and I brought a grandkid (Kid at 18 yrs old-?) to watch me. I found a few common coins......and she found a 'skeleton' key on the surface of the ground.

Hey toad you have a good place for this week sounds like Tuesday will be the best day to try and get out.

Hamhead any places to try so we can pass toads silver count?

Hinkley & Sandstone are ripe i bet. I better start knocking on doors down there. :)

Here's this weekend's take...

I'll go check the rest of old Cleet's yard tomorrow night while the kids are a gun safety class...

AHAHAHA even the coin gods are tied of you digging everything. Get us some place good or else. LOL

I don't have anything lined up. Hit the Denham ball field today and found a '37 washington quarter. I might hit that up again.

Nice I haven't gotten a silver quarter yet.
