They just bumped blustery up to: down right cold!!! Sat. 10 for a high...Sunday 9 day time high.
...is it just me? Nine is not a high of any kind!
Time to give the wood stove a hug...literally! Very chilly Valentine's Day.

Cold, windy, and icy. Glad I got out this past weekend cuz the ground hog was wrong and winter is back.

That snow yesterday and last night fizzled! I can still see Mother Earth in my driveway. But that arctic chill moving down is real. It will be '0' at night in a couple of days.
At this point global warming sounds like a nice idea. lol Frank

52 this morning & high around 76 this afternoon with clear skies here in South East Texas, wind coming out of south right off of the Gulf. Great weather for February.

....another up date...that I could do with out. Add wind chill to the mix and we have -16 to -23 "feels like", day time temps. ....some one pass the 120 proof bottle of anything!
Going for another record breaker....the cold, not me and the bottle.

Well, I saw it for the first time. I woke up and looked out the window. The sun was just rising in full brilliance And it was snowing hard. Snow only lasted about 20 minutes.

Saturday prediction is for a low of 1 degree. lol Frank

If we can get thru the weekend I think they said it will be above freezing Monday --break out the t-shirts & shorts!

Beautiful and sunny for the last week plus. Brisk starts in the 40's and warming up to high 70's to low 80's. What is frozen ground?

Well, we had a 1/4" dusting last night so it is all white and frozen at 18* at 8:30 this morning.
A ray of hope is the daffodils are just forcing there way thru the ground which generally means 2 weeks to the 60's. ( here in MD.)
So that is my prediction based on Mother Earth. lol Frank

With the wind chill factor it feels like -15.
