* Theres no time to find that stuff lads..we got a war to win ! More pics

[panzermeyer]

* Howdy folks..it's been a long cold winter but today it warmed up and I;m looking at my detector with anticipation of another year of digging to come. I just added the coins , relics and badges from my last hunt in the fall to the display cases . These were all dug at the same site which was a disembarkment point for soldiers leaving for Europe to fight in WW1. I can just visualize these men searching frantically for thier lost knick knacks as the officers were yelling at them to get packed and ready to get on the train to head to the coast to get on the ships. On this posting I will only show the coins and a case of misc. relics......I;ll load another posting on to show the badges, swagger stick parts, shells, canteen, cups, plates, bottles etc at another time. I hope you enjoy to see it. Every little item gives me great feelings as its such an honor to hold the things these brave men lost so long ago.Over 40% of the men who lost this stuff are buried in Europe . Lest we never forget thier sacrifice ! HH..Panz

Panz,
Those displays would make anybody proud to own. Beautiful job, and wonderful finds. AWESOME!!!
I hate to be a pain, but can you give a closeup of those rings if you get a minute? I found some old rings before too, and I want to see if we have anything that looks close. Thanks for the post,
MM

Cases made by a great couple I know from usa.Well made and reasonable price. You can email them them at brucer@bardstown.com if you want to get some. They ship with or without the glass.I order without glass and put it in myself.Way nicer than store stuff I;ve seen.HH..Panz
