I'm a week late posting this one but wanted to share because it's different but similar to what I usually find. Pretty sure it's Burke Phase but when it was wet I thought it was a stone shard. It has a dip where either it was broken where a drilled hole was or a rim piece with a decorative half hole but I'm leaning toward broken at the hole. It's 1/2" thick and I rarely find them that way. In the first pic there is a fresh break top left, I believe I did that with my rake and to put it mildly I was pissed at myself, so those of us who are raking and shoveling you might want to do that carefully. Hoping to get out in the creek Sunday since it might get up to 53 degrees...right now it's 8 and it's been a rough week here weather wise but I know I'm not alone thanks to the polar vortex or siberian express, whatever they're calling it lolol :icon_scratch:

Thanks for the look! HH

Being that thick it was probably towards the base of the pot. I find all different thickness of pieces.

Yes, some can get pretty thick like that. Hope it does warm up for you...Good Luck on Sunday & be careful with that rake. ;)
