Think it might be time to start

I think it might be time i start panning the 40 gallons of dirt i brought home from Quartzville in march 2010... it have been sitting in my garage and i just have had no time... wired.

Awhile back me and a buddy brought back some buckets from a spot we were sampling that had a lot of magnetite, including some inch size chunks of magnetite. My five gallon bucket weighed in at 90 pounds dry from all that magnetite, yes I weighed it because it had to have been the heaviest dry bucket I had ever carried. You know how much gold was in it? Two little pieces of about 60 mesh. Totally not worth lugging that monster around for those. But if you ever want to open an iron mine in SC, I know a great place!

Anyway good luck with your buckets, I hope they are loaded.

Been panning for 1 hour now.. found 2 very very very small flakes... but they are there in my snuff bottle now...

Hope it gets better later lol
