you should get that ring tested.. acid test, electronic ..etc... cant really rely on markings.. espicially since it looks way too yellow to be 10k gold.

Congrats again Max. Enjoyed seeing you and the gang in VA Beach yesterday. That is one HONKER of a ring....and you are to be commended for already working on returning it to the owner. I'm sure that it was lost by a member of our military, and you're doing a great dead to support them by returning a cherished item (one that was worked hard for at VMI). Hopefully someone will write up a newspaper story on that good deed too. Make sure to let us all know how it works out, the backstory, etc.

That ring will never wear thin . Look for a guy with an extremely long 3rd finger. The ring must have pulled his finger out of the socket. Congrats!!
