THOUGHTS ON A PIECE....

A friend stopped by with this piece that he said he found a few weeks back. One would think gorget but I've never seen one this small at 2 1/4 x 1 1/2. It's made out of hardstone and the notches are sumthing you don't see alot of.The size would make you think pendent instead of gorget. Give me sum of your thoughts on this please. THANX... HH

If it were not so fresh it would be a geofact. I agree though, geofact.

Looks like an 8 to me. I'd say it's modern and made by someone just fooling around with a Dremel.
