Tiny.... but gold

Day started off bad..... i forgot my hat and my finds belt and i was 10 min. late to meet my hunting partner. I told him if i found any gold he was going to have to hold it for me. My first find was a like new pair of Ray Bans...... well except for the huge dent and eye piece missing because i hit it with the scoop.... geeeeesh. We hunted about an hour and was getting out to move and ran into someone some of you may know Mel Parker. Seems he doing a little vacation in the area hunting with some of you guys. Nice to meet him wish him the best of luck out there.

Me and Tim split the beach and by time i got to him i had a couple with stones. Man you guys (Les and Ken) arent leaven us anything but the little ones.... but ill take um. Needless to say Tim wouldnt hold my finds. So i put a few rocks in my pocket to ensure it didnt turn inside out and completed the hunt. We have have hunted together for awhile now and have never both gotten gold. So we packed it up and decided instead of calling it a day..... we'd hit one more beach and he ended up with a .5 gram 10K band. Total weight for me was 4.2 grams both 14K. I dont to often so i thought id also show off my dive watch i found a couple of days ago.

You know something..... Greg forgot his finds bag and we had to adapt one of my spares for him.... and he got the gold yesterday..... hmmm maybe tomorrow I go without a finds pouch!!!

Thanks every one. Deb.... were those your finds from the club? If so that Finny is doing you right. That middle ring is a nice ring with some great stone and a strong setting base ive never seen before..... but its like size 3, really small. Its a shame to ..... melt about $80.
