An 1837 Capped Bust and 1838 Seated Liberty !!!!!!!!!!! Dream coins for sure. You are tearing it up. I would definitely go back there and listen for anything repeatable on the detector.

Hello Mr Tom. You and Larry need to get up here and hunt with me sometime. You two might get lucky and find a reale or at least a piece of one.

Say the word brother! Just "say it a few days in advance so I can plan". I can even take a day off work if you know when you are going next. My weekends are "ify" sometimes, but I might be able to pull it off if I know a few days in advance and my kids don't have a lot of sports stuff.

Nice old silver.

That would be a pretty good day in my book.

Sounds like a dang early Ghost town!!!Want more to the story and to see more finds!!

Sorry, but I don't want to sound rude due to ghost town is my own private property. I don't want to post much about it due to it is very hard to keep people out. Time period is from 1807 to 1845. I will post more finds in the future. Thanks and HH.

Congratulations on some OUTSTANDING coinage! Hats off to you!

Camb, you just need to get the reputation the last fellow who owned that property had. A few dead trespassers and your problems will be solved. Heck after that you can post pictures of the property with detailed maps of where you are finding the good stuff and you still not worry.

Love the half dimes. :icon_thumright:

If that was a short hunt you need to do a long hunt ! MaineRelic

I would like to hear more of the back story to this... I love ghost town stuff. Maybe you already did in another post. Great finds keep at it and good luck! :hello2:

Sorry, I am so used to posting about my ghost town on here I forget to write more about it. This town is on my personal propety, so I do not give out location or name. I will say it is dated from 1807-1845. Thanks for looking and HH.
