Tough day at another swimming hole!
Just in case you guys think it's all peaches and cream for me. The places I go are all rocky and gravely bottomed, no sand at all.
I'm exhausted! 76 pull tabs and $1.13 for a 6 hour hunt. The crazy ring is stainless.

That is a cool looking ring. I sympathize, rocky bottoms are a real pain to make recoveries and all those tabs make it even more frustrating. But with all the gold and silver you find the extra effort I believe is worth while. Thanks for all your posts, stay safe, good luck and keep swingin (there is more gold out there somewhere).

30 years ago when I got my first MD I tried it out in my back yard only to find (for my 1st hit) was a old pull tab just like yours and the the old car parts /spark plugs/ nuts & bolts /ETC. . I still have that pull tab and I framed it and hung it in my shop !

Well done removing all those tabs. It's a good thing that pulltabs don't open bottles because those morons would throw the bottles in the water too!

It's nice to see posts like yours....A good reality check...I think I would have quit on the 6th or 7th pulltab...you get the patience award!
