Re: Today's thought

If you break your "G" string sometimes you can use a "B" string if you want to get down.

Greydigger claims page 10 here. LOL

Todays thought -

There is a new bird in my "Waldons Pond" that I don't recognise.
Have heard the calls it makes maybe 2 or 3 times every evening.
Kinda like a chicken but louder and not the proud egg laying noise.
Sounds like a raptor looking for a mate.

Do ducks make this noise? Have a lot of them here as well as other critters.

Life is what we learn.

Re: Today's thought

ah the "truth" one sees often depends on where ones postion in life is at.

if man # 1 is looking from the top looking down --he "sees" a deep valley---- however man #2 is at the bottom looking up --he "sees" a high mountion --- if they go to the middle and #1 says "deep valley" and #2 says "high mountion" -- each in their "view" each feels they are "right" and the other one is "wrong" -- even thought they were both looking at exactly the same bit of land* -- so who's right --whos wrong?

the lesson here is what you think is "right" is often based on "your "view" change your "view" and what's right changes too. ---often theres more than one view on a matter. and "others" don't have to be "wrong" just because you to have a differant view point than them

because like the two men -- two "truths" can exist according to if your at the top or at the bottom.

Re: Today's thought

Ivan, that reminds me of the old saying.
" Those looking down only see smiling faces and those looking up only see the the a$$es ".

In my experience tho, not all are that way.

Thought of the day :

can I wash my clothes an my dishes in the same place?

PS ( do not use dish soap in the electric dishwasher. It blows the door open and a wall of suds attacks you.
This can be ok if you want to clean your rug and have a wet/dry vac on hand but is not suggested.)

Re: Today's thought

MG -
About the wall of suds - yes.
My first date with a lady we were sitting in living room as the dishwasher was working and slowly a wall of suds came around the corner.
Luckily I had a wet/dry vac (my only one) and pretended that I had it planned to shampoo the rug.
She later became my wife. LOL

Well Old Dog and Ivan, that sure is the ugliest dog I have ever seen, but yes in a cute kind of way. As for the expression on the other dogs face, the sentence that came into my head was

"you got somethin you wanna say to me" :BangHead:

Re: Today's thought

With daylight savings time shouldn't they give it back in the winter when we need it?
I never trusted the government. They probably keep it and use it for themselves on a rainy day.

Re: Today's thought

Leave it to the government
They have cut the top off of the blanket,
Sewed it back on the bottom...

Now they are trying to convince us the blanket is bigger.
