Why don't all comparativ adjectives compare?
The word "Wet" for example compares out with , wet, wetter, wettest.
or the word "good'' which spreads out to, good, better and best.

Then comes the most courious of comparatives.
The one that is at best alone, and for good reason. It doesn't work.

The word is Dead.

Except when it comes to batteries .. Darn .. These batteries are dead .. .. well, these batteries are deader than yours .. nope.. these are the deadest I have ever seen! Yup .. your right they are deader than He*+!.
