The strange weather continues… misty damp morning in stark contrast to last weeks heatwave!! xx

First off a little buckle/belt hanger.. then a broken crotal bell, a 1oz weight.. (AK & Sons) … musket ball and little cone..(?).. chunky Roman nail… and a copper square nail, which himself says is also Roman (?) buttons, crusty pre dec coins and a little coin.. not able to make out if Roman so will give to himself tomoz for ID!! xx

finally got pic of 2 Hares that we always watch… not the best pic.. but if u squint… 😂….. also this funnel web spider 🙈… he was nesting right near where i was digging…. Luckily he didnt move so i got the coin out.. otherwise would have had to leave it for someone else to find 😂😂 xx

I've come across those hares in your fields too. Quite startling when they jump up in front of you! 😬 Man, can they ever run! :blob7:

Those hares look familiar, I think their names are Bugs and Babs. If my wife would have seen that spider, she'd still be running! Awesome pics, as usual. Love those buttons!

Nice mix of recoveries, wonder what the little cone was from.
Liking the weight

Those Hare's can run 45 Mph-fast and fun to watch running across the fields.

AMAZING FINDS and great pictures thanks for sharing with us

Seems buttons were invented before stout thread was?

Great recoveries all.
The nail is upfront , right after the crotal bell , after the belt thingy...

Hares might have been headed for higher ground .
A "Misty Morning Hop" type flight.
Probably not the first time the field was evacuated when strangers stormed it.
