Tonights find- Strange token!!!!

Hey all, I was messing around in my yard tonight and found this strange old advertising token. Cascarets with an angel sitting on the pot!!!! Seems to be for some oldtime laxative. Very interesting what you can find when you don't expect much!!!!!

On the heads side of the token it reads "CCC Cascarets always win, best for your bowels". the Tails side reads "Tails you lose, all going out, nothing coming in " and shows a small angel sitting on a toilet can. Crazy! "

I found one almost identical a few months back...Mine was the same on the front as the back...No angel pooping....

That's a fun token to find. I, like outraged, found one with the same obverse and reverse(no "angel"). I would rather found the one like you found.

Thanks all. It is pretty neat, I like different things. It sure beats the wad of tinfoil, misc nails, and pulltab I didn't show ya' LOL

Great Find!

That is the first thing I have ever seen that used the bark of a Cascara tree. I remember selling the bark as a kid once it had been dried and crushed.. supposed to be a powerful laxative.
