Took a Beating Today. Updated..

I think this is the first post I have ever done were none of the finds are mine but I just had to show you what my detecting buddie Michael found today

A Medieval Silver Cross this is a quite a Rare find, you don't often see personnel Ancient Jewelry, and Religious at that ...I would date this at between 1300-1500.

The loss would have been quite considerable for the owner, there's a decent amount of Silver gone into this piece, he also managed 2 hammered and a nice Silver cuff....a right good beating for me

What no finds to speak of and even worse no black pudding and you a Yorkshireman whats the world coming to.

Funny enough, but we mentioned getting Black pudding from the local store, but for some reason we drove straight past
Couldn't wait to get to the fields I suppose ....wish I'd got the Black Pudding Now
