Treasure Clue, can you help?

Are we sharing either the zip codes, or our method of finding them the way we shared the lines of the poem earlier? Are the zip codes represented by Arabic numerals (5-5-2-3-6); by the number of fingers shown by fairies, by the number of parts of a daffodil that have floated away, a mix of all of the above?

By the way, I don't recall anyone posting this but I am seeing single or two-digit numbers in the trunks of several trees. The most obvious to me is on page 19. The tree to the left of Zac's head--it's "eyes" are definitely the number 47. Also on page 46, the "nose" attached to the bottom left face on the trunk is the number 2--and does not look like any of the other noses.

I've found about 10-12 thus far. Are these part of the zip codes you are finding, or something else (great! I probably just handed somebody the last piece of the puzzle they needed to find the tokens!).

This is just my opinion, but I don't see the logical support for there being zip codes embedded as clues in the book. I believe that logic began as the idea that a 5x5 box filled with numbers would produce 12 or 13 zip codes. That seems like a stretch to me as it would take a minor miracle to make that work. So if that idea is discredited, what continues to be the logic behind the use of zip codes as clues?
 

I've seen numerology charts that list the alphabet this way:

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
A B C D E F G H I
J K L M N O P Q R
S T U V W X Y Z

It give you 3 letters for each number and you have to figure out which letter to use.
 

Hi All.

I am new here but have been pulling my hair out like everyone else for a while to figure out something solid. ?I am wondering if anyone has figured out the importance of the mixed-up "1 to 15" inside the first page. ?This might be connected to solving a main puzzle. ?I also believe the box of 25 is key. ?I myself am not following any zip codes although it is true numbers do pop up everywhere. ?For those who wonder why acorns are everywhere in the book, I'm not sure it's all that significant except that Yorah is the tallest oak tree in the Great Forest so Stadther just felt like drawing acorns. ?Has anyone figured out the puzzle on pages 20,21? ?It looks to me to be some nifty puzzle where maybe matching colors up come into play? ?Another page that really has my daughter and I confused is Page 36. ?I think we will take a break tonight. I'm open to any new tips in looking at this. ?

Hey Number 1,

If you will read the old postings in this strand, you will get answers to most of your questions. We have identifed an 18 line poem and pairs of each of the 12 creatures within the illustrations. However, it might be more fun for you and your daughter to try to find them yourselves.

You do bring up an interesting point that I don't think we have discussed. On page 36, we have found no hidden message, but the fairies are in the strangest positions! Some of them are downright weird and look uncomfortable. Since these are not like any of the fairy stances in the rest of the book. what are they saying?

The inside square on page 31 has little red dots all around it if you take all the letters of the fairies , I come up with statue o libe she. Any one come up with any thing else?

Don't give up! Join us. Most of us don't expect to find a token, and practically none of us WILL find a token, but ain't it fun? Yes, overlying two pages to reveal a clue has been brought up but not really pursued. Whatcha got?
 

Little Casino, some smart people used Morse code to decode part of the inside frame of page 31. I think it was "Near the overlook," but you will need to search back to be sure. However, you do have an interesting approach to reading the red dots.
 

RONMN, THINK POSITIVE!!!! i believe someone here is going to get a token . i only hope that when they pick up the prize they take along a list of ?'s from all of us. we are all smart and i believe where others lack in talent on this search others excell. i hope we keep moving forward like we are.
 

We need to read the small print at the top of page 115:

"Sponsor may not confirm verification of finders until after End Date, and will not transfer actual possession of the jewels until after the End Date."

I'm thinking the transfer would apply to the cash substitute also, so if anyone was thinking about funding their search for other tokens after finding the first one . . . no can do. :'(

The exact time has yet to be posted but as soon as I find out I'll let you know. While I've got your attention I was hoping to discuss some of these allusions in the book. At the end of the TofContents the large picture of Pook is actually the same picture in reversed image as on pg 44. Do you think that it is a bold hint to look for the hidden bugs that have been mentioned but not followed through on?

TRAPAPE, i will be glad to help i've said to anyone trully interested in what i've found on the hidden creatures. i would like to just post my findings to all and be done with it but others feel strongly that i'm posting false findings that have not been approved by the verifiers of this forum. if you want to pm me i'll do that. im open to honest critism of my findings. i am not however open to said i would put false findings on here to lead people astray. but i dont believe i can say what i've found openly on this forum because of the craziness it received when i tried to post it last time and i would prefer to keep things on this forum enjoyable for all. anyway i can help feel free to pm me. thanks.
 

Trapape, as far as the reversed Pook, I don't think anyone has mentioned that in this forum. It may have been the illustrator's way of saving some time in drawing him twice. Can you be more specific about the critters? ???
