Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

Thanks Guys, I really enjoyed seeing all of you! Scott, thanks again the present you left me with. It will remain a treasured gift. Florida Bill, your decals were a big hit. I only had three left! Terry, thanks again for the books, I can't wait to read them. I would like to thank you all again for coming and after some reflection see about plans for next year. The pics are great, I'm glad we had some photographers on board, I looked at my camera today and I only had four pics on it!LOL. Whitefeather said he took over 200 so I'll guess when he sorts through them, we'll see a few more. I also want to thank all of you that helped out, it's greatly appreciated!

John,

Sorry I missed it! I really wanted to see everyone and I even had a few request for the Sweet Tea Vodka from Monica and Tom. It seems like it just wasn't in the cards for this weekend.

I will be down at the end of June and will make it point to stop by!

Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

Hey Guys,
I'm really glad you all enjoyed this 'Get together". It's a special thing when guys like us can get together and share our passion. Many of us know each other, have had partnerships with each other and have at least heard of each other. On the other hand, many of us have never met. This was our opportunity to see old friends, meet others that share our interests, exchange information, create new partnerships, enjoy our fellowship, tell jokes, stories and outright exaggerations all in the atmosphere of good food, good drink and good times. I truly hope this fellowship continues. The spirit of this little cookout is really a rare opportunity for all of us secretive treasure hunters to share our lives with each other. Remember, we only go around once...

Florida Bill, your decals were a big hit

Glad you had enough , I think for the 3rd annual you should ask for a donation of $3.00 each to help off set some of the costs, that would be very cheap for a 6-7 year outdoor cut vinyl sticker custom made ..

Bill,
It was your generosity that made it possible for me to give our friends something to remember this cook-out by...
I appreciate your idea for offsetting the costs. We'll see what next year brings. If you get another chance to be in the Orlando area, be sure to give me a call!

Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

:hello2: Awsome Cookout John, Food was exceptional, Hospitality was unequaled anywhere in the world, Guests were the salt of the earth and did I mention the food? Mah belly is still stuffed!

Right about the pictures Aquanut, I have somewhere around 250 or a little more. I tried to get some nice closeups of all but a few were camera shy and managed to get away without me sneaking up on them. I do, however, have a lot of really nice shots. I am trying to get the names and T-Net handles together but a few problems here at the boat have distracted me for a few days. We are trying to get cast off and start treasure hunting by Monday and things need doing all over this little old boat. I've been in the bilge under the forward head all day and yesterday I was recovering from the weekend. My apollogies for being a bit late posting some pictures.

Okay, enough gab for the moment. Here are a few of the many pictures I have. I will make up a CD in a few days or so and try to get a copy to anyone who wants one. If I don't have your name in the guest book with a way to reach you just drop me an email. I may lose internet next month but will get back to civilization shortly. The last trip we went on lasted nine (9) years.

PICTURES! PICTURES! PICTURES!
Just reached my limit. More Later!

Russell, Those are great pics. The closeups even show the name tags. That'll help me remember some of the new guys names for next year. I'm really glad you all took pictures. Usually I'm too busy chugging a few with you all to remember I should be taking pics myself.

Hey John...
You and your's outdid yourself! Tremendous party! Seriously, you and your family and friends did an excellent job!
We all appreciate it, and I know, that we all looked forward to it. I hope I can return the favor some day. Thanks again!!
It's a testament to anybody who can gather that much help for such a wingding. Our hats r off to ya.

Work on that knee... gotta bend it to get them flippers working.

Thanks Terry
My therapist, "the Princess of Pain" is doing her best to bend this knee. If she doesn't break it, I'll be flippin' before I know it!

:laughing9: John, take your detector out to the beach and detect. It will have you bending that knee in no time. Nothing like wanting to bend it to take some of the hurt out of doing it. :laughing9:
More pitchers Y'All! Just a few, I'm working on the boat and am taking a break. Gotta keep at it or I'll never get to the dive sites. :laughing9: Yaaaa Hooooo!
