Treasure Hunters Cookout

Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

Aquanut I was just wondering the same thing.I thought there was going to be something going on that I missed but I should say that I've been checking everyday to see if there is something new.So it does look as if a hundred folks have been looking with no takers.Anyway we are waiting for tomorrow as well as looking forward to it . I know you have said not to bring anything special but if there is anything you might have thought of please post it here so we can help.So far all I've got is chairs I would like to be able to help if at all possible in any way.Once again thank you in advance look forward to seeing you tomorrow as well as meeting lot's of new folks with the same desire as I have.Thank you Capt Rodney

Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

Also John, since I didn't make it last year....What is the parking situation? I didn't see it in the thread, but do we just park on the side of the street, or do you have some neighbors that might go ballistic if we are too close to the sidewalk or something! ;D

My mother and sister do estate sales in Sun City, and someone calls the cops almost every week on their customers for parking too close to the sidewalk, or one millimeter too close to their driveway! No joke!

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

-Jon

Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

Jon, Aquanut has a big lot and his neighbors are cool. They will probably join us. Rodney, look for me tomorrow. Last year was like a get together but this year we need to unite to end the state salvage stalemate. The sate has not issued a recovery permit since 1987. What can we do as a group to end this?

Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

Man, I am getting hungry already.................. :laughing9: How early are you opening up?.......LOL

You have any objections to my bringing my parrot, Ruby?

Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

Jon,
I guess my reply didn't post yesterday.
Anyway, you can park along the road and in my next door neighbors yard where there's a sign. It's the place that looks like it's under construction.
Rodney, I may set out a jar for voluntary donations. This one has more than doubled the cost of last years.
Treasure_Hunter, Whitefeather may bring his parrot Addy, so why not. But be for-warned, we have three cats living here.
If you're coming early, Bring ICE!

TODAY"S the DAY!!!

Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

I had to wait until the bitter end but becuase of personal business I have to take care of today will keep me away from what looks like a blast, but as usual I have hit one of those bumps in the road. Hope you all have a great time and be sure to post photos and there better be one of that shirt I created LOL.......

Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

Bill,
I'm wearing the shirt, so somebody better take my picture! I've got your decals set out and I'll be off the computer for a while because we're still settin' up. Sorry you couldn't be here with us!

Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

Great get together for the Florida professional treasure hunters. Aquanut put on a first class cookout with hired professional cooks to serve a great meal. We got a lot done today.

Aquanut The Seafarer/Bottomline crew would just like to say thank you for a great time.I was able to see some old friends as well as meet some new ones.I hope in the future we can spend more time together. We'll have to throw an end of the year party if and when we are successful at the summers end.Once again thank you very much from myself,Eric,Frank as well as Miss Nicole.

Re: Treasure Hunter's Cookout

John, Great Party. Thanks for inviting me. I really had a great time meeting all those great guys that post on here and finally putting faces to the names that I read on here. I sincerely hope that this becomes an Annual Event. For those of you that couldn't make it, all I can say is that it was fantastic. Deb, John and Krissy put out a great spread and I know a lot of time and effort went into preparing for the party.
In closing, I want to say that all of you guys that I met are tops in my book and I can't wait for at least one of you to hit the Mother Lode soon. To those that didn't make it ? I hope to meet all of you at next years party.
