Trip to the coast

Went to the coast for a few days and had a bit of fun on the beach. Some cool finds and a lot of trash but I had a great time and can't wait to get back there.
Picked up some junky jewelry and a bit of silver including the bracelet a couple of charms and an old silver spoon.
I also eyeballed a few things like the army guy MD'ing
Best find was the watch, I needed a water proof watch

Well seems some-one been down after the x-mas holiday makers Bet you there twice as much after the last couple of days.Congrats on you finds.I hope they don,t dredge the shipping channel in the bay or your beach mit be under water .

There were a few trips to the beach desertfox. I stayed close to a few good beaches but some big tides where I was looking so I could only look at low tide or work the sand.
Tinpan your spot on, hit the beach after the holiday rush. As for the dredging, I am not sure what effect it will have on the beaches or the tides but it will certainly disrupt the bay.
It seems crazy that they banned scollop dredging a couple of years ago and fishing in the bay improved only to allow this
Also the top picture is an old penny found on the sand. I'd say it's been there a while.

That was the third snake for the day and the smallest of em but still dangerous (tiger snake). Hot days there out in force so you learn to watch your step.
