Malpractice insurance is needed for mistakes that harm patients. My reference was to medical knowledge.

Oh forgive my faux paws, mea culpa...

For decades, the medical "eggspurts" have claimed many new improved formulated medicines will help you live longer, make you stronger, grow hair, cure that hiccup, stop that burn, stop that yearn, get it up, get it down, get it all around....
to later only find out.... oooopppss, that does more harm, than good.

I'm not trying to say, mankind hasn't made extraordinary medical advances in our lifetime,
my Mother was born in 1919, she used to tell me of so many amazing medical breakthroughs of the century.
Birth of penicillin, wiping out TB, measles, rubella, many nasty things eradicated...
but, these advances have come with much trial & error, and a price,
and has done much damage, when the "eggspurts" have gotten it wrong.

Thalidomide, being a great example.
Nowadays, we got opioids, heart burn medicines, blood pressure medicines, and many other medicines, that lifetime(even sometime short term) use or abuse, can lead to more problems, than they fix.
Remind me again, what Madame Currie died of...

I find most ppl that are born relatively healthy and normal, thrive,
if consuming the right provisions & nutrients, adequate exercise, sunlight, & rest,
they should be for the most part... Healthy.
Maybe there's just a lot more sick ppl out there in the world, than I'm aware of,
but if one does not pay attention & be diligent about their own well being,
we've seen what we can get when we allow someone else or the "eggspurts" to do it for us.
They may not always get it right. I might not always get it right, either,
but I trust me, maybe more than I do some doctors, and I'll take blame/responsibility
for my choices & decisions. Knowledge is power.
Inner knowledge may be more powerful.

We've still to figure out the autism issue, ms, so many diseases...
I respect your opinion and agree to certain extents,
I just have my own perceptions, and that's just me.

Well being encompassing the physical, mental, and spiritual.

My daughter-in-law works at one of the largest medical practices in the area. They see a lot of sick people. Despite pleading and begging, they have not seen the first test kit.

Doctors are trained as to how to swab a patient and ship a sample off.
They have been doing this for years. Our very small local hospital says they can take samples and ship them to one of the 20 labs in the state that are certified to run the test.

Waiting around for the government to supply your business...maybe not a great plan.

as a result. we got to retest the cured too it seems
we need more Microbiology and Pathology people,

AARC, we tossed our little pod eaters out yesterday, it'll be slow
roll outs of closings & restrictions, especially,
if this thing jumps up there like the cdc thinks it well can.
It'll overwhelm the healthcare industry & all our essential workers.

This is where it's good to have close family, friends, neighbors,
all doing what they know they need to do.
If anyone runs out of anything, one of us will have it.
So lucky my neighbor is a nurse. She even got a nebulizer,
& nebulizer medicine. She got rid of the oxygen generator while back

I don't know if I even want to check Fl #'s this evening...
Stay close to local news, as many places are still cooking & only doing drive up service.
Don't be so sure about trusting them either.
My neighbors' daughter is a pediatrician in Portland,
they're having to dress in FULL HAZMAT SUITS,
just to see a child!

You'll know how important our dr's, nurses, 1st responders & essential personnel are, when they get sick!
We didn't get mail, yesterday. (not that I'm complaining bout that, and then got to wash hands after touching mail!)
The charities also, are trying to prepare to deliver meals & provisions/groceries, to those in need.
Prioritizing & Prioritize!

They think everyone receiving a 1000 dollar check is an answer... this would have to be monthly to be effective... MOST peoples rents are more than that.

Also they should say that landlords cannot collect rent... IF renter cant work and make money it is definitely not fair the landlord can.

I don't see or know how they are gonna do this... how this will work without some MAJOR money... your talking TRILLIONS UPON TRILLIONS.
