"Truth" and "Hope" plus $17.77 in clad
Hello to all!! It was 30 degrees this morning but not raining or snowing so out I went. I wanted to hit a large Lutheran school playground and soccer fields but the pastor was not in so I coundn't get permission to hunt there, so I didn't since these kinds of church schools are considered private property. My back up plan was to go to two public elementary schools near there, ones I had covered the woodchips in last summer.
I went over the woodchips again and surprsingly, there was a nice amount of targets. I also detected the grassy areas around the play areas, basketball courts, and soccer fields and did pretty good today.
I got a nice keeper ring in the grass near the swings. It says "Truth" on it, is hallmarked "Sterling" and $, and is very large size. It fits on my thumb. I also got another silver keeper, a small pendant the says "Hope" and is hallmarked 925. One piece of gold too, a broken piece of an earring marked 10K. I also found a little bracelet on top of the ground. It's homemade and might be sterling. Here's my keepers.

I found a cool dog tag out in the middle of an open field. It's a 1983 Rutherford County tag. I don't think there is a county named that in Michigan? I'll have to check. It's pretty cool.

Lot's of trinkets today, 4 rings, 6 pendants, 2 earrings, 2 pins, a necklace, and a bangle bracelet (not pictured). Here's the 4 rings, all are pretty nice.

Glad to be out there today and very happy with my finds. It was actually ok out there because the wind wasn't blowing. I think it was about 40 degrees by the time I quit at 1:30. I am hoping to get out a time or two more before the snow flies. I am close to 10,000 coins and might just make it. I got 204 coins today for a face value of $17.77, lots of silver clad including 42 quarters in the 6 hours hunt time today. Here's some phots of today's finds. Thanks for reading, HH to all!
