To start the day off my camera protective lens cover would not open, to many trips in the field. I have only had that thing for 10 years, I guess I got my money out of it. Anyway moved a lot of dirt and I mean a lot, first thing I found was what I thought was the best, I have never seen one of this size and polished like this, I guess you can call it a plummet/weight.View attachment 884780View attachment 884781View attachment 884786View attachment 884787This thing is perfect, the only thing wrong with it is a small ding where I hit it. I have never found one that was this big, polished and drilled. Man I was as happy as a pig in a mud hole. This find stoked me up so I went back at it, the very next scoop I found this point, I think it is a what we call a carrollton point 3000 to 4000 years old.View attachment 884793View attachment 884795Things could not get any better, but I was wrong. As I bent down to go back to work in this 3ft deep pit, I was on my knees and a clump of dirt fell off the wall with this and landed almost in my lap.View attachment 884805View attachment 884810View attachment 884818View attachment 884825View attachment 884829This is some of that green stone that folks where telling me about. I have found a celt made of some of it already. Someone said what's next silver and gold beads, well this is just has good to me. JMO these items have never been used at all and I think they where made for someone special or a special time. The disk made a few dings on this one , but what the heck I think I will keep it.
