There is an old one room church here that I frequently hunt. Its a great place and has potential, but it is loaded with trash. I got an E-trac about a month ago, and now it feels like I am getting the hang of it, as good finds are starting to come out of the trash again.
This is my first gold ring, and I was pretty exited to find it. It looks old to me, the band is gold and the mount is silver. No hallmarks of any kind. I don't have any idea what the stone is, but it is a very rough cut and shows an amber color when light is held behind it.
The Indian was a sweet sound! When the coil passed over it I instantly knew it was a goodie, just not what it was. Now I know what to listen for!
Wish it wasn't raining now, I sure would like to be back out there!
Sorry for the poor pics, my camera is down, best I could do with an old Iphone.
