I've spent a lot of time going thru this thread, lately.
My greatest fear is that I might miss even one contribution in the list of credits.

If it gets published and I have missed one... then it's too late.

Better to lose sleep over it now.

I can tell you where to start to look in your next adventure. I was studying your neck of the woods a little while ago. But pm's only. I identified a couple large geologic anomalies, but beautiful and well seen, some on public land. There will likely be metals/gems there as well as trails and markers. There are random pictures of the areas a showing more than enough. I don't know your exact location, but NW Ark is close enough.

Quinoa,

PM sent.

I think I may go find the Indian mound near the War Eagle creek.
Close to home.....

After all is done with this book.

I just invested three hours with my grandchildren, panning fool's gold.

What a treasure it is to have them moving back.

I wont forget it either.

When it warms up a little we're going to take my sluice box to the creek, .so I can show them why gold cost so much.

I just love it when I type a long response, only to have my phone tell me that I'm not logged in.
It doesn't save the draft....

Well, grandkids on their way back to ND, to help their mom, and aunt Brittany pack for the big move back to Arkansas.

It'll be a long week for all of us.
All of us will be happy to see the day when their house is sold and they buy their new home here.

On another subject... does anyone know of a publishing company that you would care to recommend?

Or that I might need to avoid.
( please send p.m. for any negative info.)
We don't want to create trouble where it could cause problems for our beloved forum.

Any positive remarks are fine to post here in public.
I am down to one from my list, they seem okay, but I would rather go into negotiations with more than one bullet in the gun.
I would rather not fire off a warning and rely on my poker face.

If you are interested in self publishing (or it gets to the point where you tire of dealing with publishers) I might be able to help you with the software to create your own ebook. I've done a few short stories as epubs but nothing of the scale you are dealing with ... although the software will handle the big books as well.

Not real expensive (less than $ 50.00) but pretty easy to use. Got a couple of acquaintances in England who do lots of epubs (ebooks).

Thanks Chadeaux, the best option is a publisher that prints.

I have found that most that I have looked into, simply publish that I have something that I want printed.... for a fee.

The e-print option is not on my table. I've heard too many horror stories.

I have picked up a few new names to check out.

One should pan out. If not, I'll keep looking.

Thanks.

Well, I burned thru three out of four possibilities. The fourth does publish and print, but there mainstay is science and technology.

It's a weak backup plan, but it's a plan that I didn't have this morning.

There's still room on the blackboard for more recommendations.

The person that gave me the last four leads, has given me the best one yet.

I received an email this morning, and it sounds promising.... nothing carved in stone yet, but I have high hopes.

The info came in a pm.
So I will respect the privacy.

I am very thankful for the effort made. Now it lays on my ability to push thru.
