Two similar Quartz pieces

I found the the pure white Quartz piece and posted it a few months ago, the second yellow Quartz piece was found by my girlfriend at the same site. They are both similar and interesting.

I am guessing scrapers?

They could be large waste flakes the quartz was so hard to find a good one to use I know of a place that is just littered with quartz pieces and very few tools mixed in but you could spend a whole day of bending if you wanted to just to find broken pieces of debitage of all sizes.
