I wonder if they are going to do some dumb commemorative nickel about this now, say melt these down or do an over stamp and sell it off as a memorial coin of coins that were "actualy" in the accident.

After the sep 11 coin things like that...nothing surprises me at all now how tasteless things can get.

That happened a few miles from me. They said if anyone took even on nickel, they would go to jail and get booked for a federal offense. The department of transportation just blew the coins off the road and the treasury department has to pick them all up. What a job.
