I found $3.69 in change the oldest coined being 1963 and then I found this ring in a friend's yard. Its 17.8 grams 18k. With permission to hunt I might add. Feels a lot better that way. There was in 1965 Quarter a foot from the ring. I'm On Whidbey Island WA using a Whites MXT

Wow It looks very similar but it's not the same ring for sure. This must be the cheap knock off version. I'd love to ask the lady selling it where she got it from.

I tried to get the same angle.

nice find congrats HH

That is so cool. How did you find it? I look on eBay and I cannot find the same search results.
It was ebay uk, was where I found that. I also searched ebay au, nothing was there though. Email the seller tell them your story, they may or may not reply. (I did the same thing with a giant unmarked ring I have that tested 18K. A guy on ebay had one almost 95% same as mine, and was kind and replied). The ebay ring "seems" to have a thinner band than yours, it didn't seem to be "exactly" the same.

What do you mean? which one? I changed my avatar four times since I joined this forum.
LOL! yeah, I saw that. LOL!
The ring looked real nice as your avatar. Go get it tested, put your mind to rest. Perhaps continued searches, will turn up more for you.
Good luck and HH!

Looks close enough to call it a match, to me. TTC
