Type ID requested

Found this one in a rock shelter (East Kentucky) yesterday. I've tried to ID it but I find several that come close but not exactly like it. Any help is greatly appreciateced. It is exactly 2 inches long.

hello 1320!! i think your point is a [Epps] coner notch that has been used as a halfted knife, and resharppend a few times all on left side as you look at your photo. that is what maker it look lop sideded, that seems to be a trademark of hafted knifes. Terry

Is the base ground or unground? That would tell you whether it's Archaic (ground) or Woodland (unground) to help narrow down your search.

I have found that same type on Woodland sites in my area and I call them Chesser Points.

Its Hopewell. The Ohio Archeological Society has a free point ID book on thier website, its very helpful.

Indeed Tmodel, it's heavily beveled on the left, thank you.

Base is unground plus it was very shallow in the shelter, I agree on the Woodland call x2. Thanks Reaper.
