Ugly points.. post'em

I figure with alot of folks not being able to hunt at the moment this could be a fun thread. I know alot of these are in those collections out there starving for attention.

Well based on the fact that the material used could have easily made a very nice point...unlike some shown here that routinely turns out fuglys I'm going with TomClark's Duval. I will show one of mine for comparison. ...that's a pretty wretched one there Tom.

They are beautiful for what they are.... but you have to agree.. as a whole looking at all the lithic material in north America ..rayholite and quartz are not pretty. And very often....like with that piece of rayholite they are very uneven and askew.

I was messin with you. You are right. However, a pretty quartz piece is hard to beat. Many are uneven because of our weather. We definitely have four seasons. 100+ degrees in the summer and 0 degrees once in a while in the winter. Like you said, beautiful for what they are. NC artifacts.
