First time SCUBA Diving in Croatia! I was rewarded with a big 14K Gold ring and an antique silver ring! Also reeled in almost 100 EURO in Croatian Kuna! Can't wait to return in September!

Looks like very fresh drops : so many sand ...... You where VERY lucky to find something in here.

I compare that kind of soil condition to "desert hunting" => only fresh drops can be found or massive crap (large pieces of aluminium for example).

Try to find others places with less sand, maximum of 2 to 5 inches before hitting hard soil / rocks

Actually, it's the sea. During the winter a strong "Jugo" wind pulls water out from that part of the island and the water level is about 1 meter lower on this side of the island.
