Update On Sash Buckle

I found exact one on line but unfortunately I actually only found half of it... it's a 2 piece ladies sash buckle ( bottom pic is the piece I dug up)

I believe brass not gold plated. Both sides and edges are consistent color and no flaking. Yes,I did polish mine up trying to find a makers mark

That explains it. Normally brass is green after being buried. Thanks.
