Found this low serial bill in my change today. How much do you think I can get on eBay? $40?

I am new to this oddity too but here is what I have learned...
Radar bills have a serial number that reads the same forwards or backwards! For example, 45733754 is a radar serial number, because you can reverse the digits and it will still be the same number. Same as the word radar, spell it backwards or forwards, same word. Another time consuming pastime that might pay off.

ive seen the radar notes and repeater notes, but never have seen a bill with that low of a serial number...cool find

Maybe I should have asked for more $. I'm not greedy though, it was nice quick profit. I have another bill I found with a great smear error. I'll post it later. I'm going to ask $75 for it. Funny, I didn't make an effort to go through bills this week. Both were just in my regular change.

Nice to be lucky sometimes.

THAT is so cool! I love pocket change treasures! I'm all about pocket change treasure! For me it all started in 1994 ~ I found a 1993-D cent with a die rotation of 100 degrees . . . . I sold it for $35.00 to an error coin collector. That find sparked my interest in error coins and now that's all I buy & sell ~ error coins, error currency & fancy serial number currency!

A couple years ago I got a phone call from my younger sister that live a couple hours north of me in Portland Oregon. She got a couple very low serial number dollar bills from the store ~ 00000022 & 00000023!! I told her to go back to the store & buy the rest of the dollars from that checkstand! Unfortunately she didn't go back for over an hour . . . . . . that check stand was closed, but she did buy the dollars from a different check stand and got one more low serial number ~ 00000038. All were uncirculated!

She sent the three low serial numbers to me and I sold them on eBay for her ~ we cleared over $350.00!!! That was so AWESOME!

Then a few months later she found a five dollar bill with serial number 00055555 ~ it was circulated and sold for $25.00 on eBay.

The best serial number I've ever found myself was 00005050. I gave it to my teenage son ~ I hope he kept it!

DANG! I am going to have to go back to my stripping carrier for all those ones! I - kid

I am like the rest of you, Now I have another thing to check and be anal about.

There should be a dollar thread started somewhere to show your best finds.
