US Box Plate - Beginner's Luck Edition

Been relic hunting for about 3 months now and loving it. Learned in January of the "Diggin in Virginia" event so I immediately jumped on it. Wow! The dirt in Culpeper is touch stuff. Found only 3 bullets yesterday and today was looking worse. I hadn't found anything but iron the first 5 hours today so I switch areas and hunted a swampy area. Not 10 minutes in and BOOM! I found a box plate. The PI machines definitely rule the soil here but I managed to do alright! I'm lovin' this hobby!

Re: US Box Plate - Beginner's Luck Edition

Nice find, your in a great area with all the Native American battles and settler raiding that took place between the 1600-1800's you never know what your gonna find.
