ya we eat there when we go also.if you guys are comming from san antonio just north SA off the highway is pipe creek turn twards leakey then vanderpool to campwood i do believe if i had a map i'd i'd give better directions.if your comming in during the day that is the route to take for the best view.right in campwood turn by post office about 1/4 mile is a couple cabins right next to the river you can rent.which are on a indian midden.walk right out your door to the river to a swimming hole and if you wanna jump off a little cliff into the river you can do that also.
