Been in about 1/2 an hour, and it's good to see all the pictures showing up. I still have some miscellaneous photos on my camera and will try to post tomorrow afternoon.

Be Blessed everyone!

And a special THANK YOU to WSD for all the work that went into setting the hunt up! Great places to detect, and lots of info shared.

Appreciate it Ron!

River Rat,

How did the hunt at the 5 Oaks Ranch go? Anything cool found.

Many things found there,Dave, including one item that was left there on purpose and will be reburied.

I told Maryanna and Ed that next October we will be in Kansas at the CTH(if Burdie survives this election) and they said that March or April it is still cool enough that another visit from us would be great???????Too soon?

As for me, next weekend wouldn't be soon enough.

Well, folks, yesterday (Thur), we turned off the lights and closed the doors.......and the final 3 (Cybercop, Bridge, and myself) left the building, ending the hunt.

OOPS! Did I say we ended the hunt? NOPE..... you know us! We went down to Neal's picnic area to hear that one last ping on the detector. AND.....I hit the mother lode of coin spills! I literally was finding 3 and 4 every couple of seconds! Sorry, TC, no silver, just clad. But for me it was a great way to end the hunt. It was kind of like a "Texas Tease"......"come on back, just one more time!"..... LOL :tongue3: :tongue3: :tongue3:

So, I want to thank WSD and RR for making this a great hunt.

Just got home less than two hours ago after dropping Bobby off in Pensacola about 4:30 am. That's a looooooooooooong freakin' drive straight thru.
Sorry no posts from me at Uvalde, I had to leave my laptop with my A$$ to play solitaire on while I was gone. Her laptop is in the process of crapping out................ I'll have to get her a new "$800 electronic deck of cards"
I found a lot of clad, bullets and misc junk, the latter I threw away. Some of my interesting finds include a stainless steel ring, pewter Taz charm, a metal shuriken and a swiss army knife. Pics to follow.
Hopefully Steve will post pics of the rock escarpment we conquered.......... :headbang:

The rattler was hiding under a central air unit behind one of the buildings at a hunt site. He looked pretty big, so I pulled him out by the tail. He wasn't too happy about that, and coiled up against the building. I took a couple close ups with my cell phone camera and called Bobby over to get a photo with his expensive, fancy digital pic shooter. I was gonna drag it away from the buildings and toss it over the fence but Bobby said "Let's eat him." Well, one thing lead to another and Mr Snake ended up as dinner.
BTW, whoever says it tastes like chicken must have been eating some weird pullets!!!!

home rested and now in search of a lost dog that got loose 3 days ago and hasn't been seen. Not at any pound either

A BIG THANKS TO YA WSD for a great hunt and a wonderful time :0)

I sincerely thank you Ron

TTYS I will post some pictures later

Photos continued.

The photos of the wood stick fence are there to show a fence that was orginally constructed during the 1800's. Otherwise scenery and our hunters.

Mr Scorpion that I ate, tasted like a piece of shredded wheat. All those faces they make on "Man verses Wild" are just a hoax. Nothing about it taste bad or for that matter, have no taste at all. We were a rugged crew of misfits eating snakes, scorpions, and BEF cooking!!! Lol! A great trip for all!!!

Steve ;D
