Elderly Gentleman calls me up. Says,"Going to tear down an old garage on a lot, do you want to detect it first? You can have anything thats there..inside or out....so I say .....
"Of course!
Doesn't take me long to jump in the car and head over...all the time seeing visions of silver caches flashing before me....detect for about an hour ...nothing but nails and screws and washers...so I decide to go indoors ...not much but a bunch of junk...see an old funky cabinet that I think would look good if I spray painted it...so haul that out....then I decide to look through a bunk of old moldy boards and doors in the back end of the room. Go through it all and then find two old tin signs hanging on the wall! Yeehah! Not what I expected ,but at least I didnt come home empty handed!

Gypsy, Those finds are highly marketable, better than coinshooting anyday. I would not paint the cabinet. Shabby chic is in, the grungier the better.....steve

Gypsy,

If you paint that cabinet it will loss its value. Check the signs for dates. Compare at ebay.

The gas pump is an original bennett 1954 in perfect condition everything works. Those are old pictures, I have lots more stuff now. That is my Orlando home I am going up there today I will take new pictures.

Best,

Chagy.......
