Weekend hunt with the AT Pro..Pocket spill!SILVER!!

Weekend hunt at my Uncles farm and this is what I found..The farm seen a little Civil War action..The coins were found away from the house and barns on top of a knob/mountain in the middle of no where.Just shows you that you never know what you are gonna find or where you are gonna find it!! :laughing7:

All the coins were found in the same hole about 4" down in rocky soil.I guess that's why they were not any deeper..
I know the musket balls are Civil War era but what about the shell casing.It has a U on the bottom of it..

love the walking liberty,and the mercy dime, any deeper you probably would of walked rite over them.what did the iron sound as,did you have in pro mode or did it ring up as silver too.

Looks like you had a blast Spiral, silver will put you in the happy mode everytime. Nice horse shoe, bell and minnie balls. Rocky soil is hard digging.

Thanks...I doubt if they were deeper I would have missed them.Most of the musket balls were 8" to 10" so I know that the AT would have snagged the coins if they were deeper :icon_thumleft:

.I was in Pro mode with an Iron disc of 35.That cuts out the small iron but big iron that's been in the ground with the halo effect will still ring in, only the audio is low-mid-low but still sort of broken in the Pro mode.You could tell that it was Iron but since it had the mid tone(kinda broken) it let you know that it was a large piece of Iron.I think it rang in at 37-40..The AT Pro is an all out audio machine..The more I use it, the more I catch myself not looking at the screen and just listening at the audio..
