Well Nana, What'll it be Today?
The girls and I got out for a hunt today at a local school. Spring break's here and not a soul in site! Perfect!

Riding up into the parking lot, Lisa and I were joking around and telling what all we were going to find today.... "Gold! We're gonna find gold today!" I said, "Well, will we find 14K or 18K today?" We both made a vow that we were going to dig EVERYTHING today. And we did. Lots of pencil tops, more of them than pull tabs!
But worth the effort!
I started out in the practice field. Found a few pieces of change, then a neat pin. Has the image of a Indian nickel and it had the pin on the back, but I dropped it and the little pin broke off.
Next was the 925 earring. Too bad I didn't find the other, cause I really like it.
After a couple of hours there, I decided to go behind the school and see what was there. I spot the playground in pea gravel and hunt there for a bit. Found the little silver looking ring, the 'friends' charm, a zippa pull and some change. Getting late in the evening and about ready to go, I ask Lisa if she had checked out the swings. She hadn't, so I did. About the fifth dig, out pops this great little 14K ring! Oh my gosh! Glad I dug that 20 reading!
Not five feet away and the next dig, a 10K'er! One right after the other! Glad I dug that 22 reading too!
Found $4.00 in change. Finally a better day! I was beginning to think I had a hitch in my get-along!

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend!
