Some kind of tiny bee covered in dew was sleeping on a freshly bloomed sunflower...... Even had a dew drop formed on it.... The first picture was taken after sunrise after he woke up and started drying out.

Never seen one of those before. Looks like it is a Long Horned Bee. Nice Shots.
 

Nice macro shots, Ron! I think I found an ID for your fuzzy bee, Melissodes robustior. Common name, Long Horned Bee, only the males have the long antennae. They are solitary bees, don't live in hives with others, usually in burrows. The male is known to sleep on blooms at night. Cool.

Thanks for the info! I wouldn't have known how to begin a search.
 

That first one looks like a soggy bee. Pretty awesome shots Ronald.
