Delayed start to the day as heavy rain in the morning, but never daunted we decided to drive over to the field of dreams and see how it went.

Well, what can I say, this is the same field as last week, but we went up into a corner near the pond, that we hadn’t really done, the stubble is beginning to break down but it’s still hit and miss swinging.

So we have a lovely lead weight, a rectangle bit of lead and a round lead disk. 2 Thimbles, a battered crotal bell, 2 musket balls, buttons, a lovely heart shaped piece and a round, both have gold bits on them (?) a strange bronze pointy thing?

Then yep the Blossom, is very proud of her Silver Roman coin, 2 possible coins/Jettons and another definite coin, no ids yet… Himself is currently checking his coin book!

Such an amazing field, definitely worth freezing my face off, after a week of work so good to just spend time wandering about, saw an amazing Hare flying across the field, and a couple field mice were scampering around our feet as we walked thru their territory 😆 xx

Hard to see the missing letters at the start but Cru'dad & I think we see the base of the letters to fit this attribution:

Arcadius AR Siliqua.
397-402 AD.
D N ARCADIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right
VIRTVS ROMANORVM, Roma seated left on cuirass with Victory on globe and spear.
Mintmark MDPS. - Milan Mint

Nice find

Looks like you have a Scrappy Roman Bronze Coin, looks like a radiate head so an Antoninianus, circa AD265-285.
Not sure if its a Jetton or a 17th C Halfpenny Token??
The piece next to the Heart Shaped Leather Decor is the internal part to a fob watch.

For a second i couldn't figure out what you meant in your Random Chat Thread post... heh

Awesome day blossom.
Crusader covered the IDs so well. 👌
Congrats on the Roman Silver, bronze, and the other finds, and another bell.
Photo #6 what does the side view look like of the big piece?

If those coins are not banner finds I don't understand the meaning of a "Banner Find". Just awesome finds. You are becoming like a rock star of detecting. (You aren't really sneaking these out of a museum are you?) ROCK ON!
Ahh bless you xx thank you! We are just very lucky to have the fields we do! xx
