What are they?

Look like fossilized bird eggs but some are quartz and they all have holes drilled in one end . what are they, and who drilled them and why? a few pics of some other finds. thanks for any opinions.

Hi All

Downt shot me down for this but Is it a possability that these are the ends of acupuncture needles, I have seen a picture with a guy with all these nobes sticking out from his body and they were the gripes for the needles. Just a thought

Actually I did think if I had only found the quartz ones how much they looked liked a grape but then there where the others thought just really confuse the heck out of it all. Thanks apache. opinions are greatly appreciated

yes. I have pulled up some sites on discoidals and found quite a few stone ones that are similiar. I believe this right track.
