What exactly on Google Earth do you look for?

Gold prospecting. In an area of interest to me, at one point the boulders become clear. This allows me to follow the ancient riverbed where I believe the gold is coming from. You've got to get boots on the ground to establish what it is you are seeing but one can cover a large area at home with little effort.
