What happens when.....

What happens when i drop off hand rolled coins at my one dump bank? do they get transfered to other branches as hand wrapped? do they get sent off to be re-rolled and sent to the same chain or different chains? My main question is when i drop off rolls do they get transfered to different banks eventually?

Depending on the number of rolls you have dumped, there may be several answers to your question. If your dump bank is large,it probably has regular runs by an armored car company which will pick up bags from the bank in $500 batches. Your bank may keep smaller amounts than $500 until the next CRHer comes along. I have gone into banks and asked for halves and the tellers will jump for joy with the opportunity to get rid of someones dumps. I have had them make up stories of coins uncovered during a vault search. That is all bull$hit by the way. These banks have to account for every penny every day,they know exactly what is on hand. If you get nice with the vault teller, they will pull out their little book of coin totals and give you the skinny on what they have. Cheers,Jim

Some are happy to just get rid of them, others protect them like a dragon protecting a golden horde and lie.
Its weird, Some just dont care and treat it like a job. They are the best.
