The banks wouldn't be able to keep up with the demand for boxed coins. "I'd like to order 10 boxes of halves, 10 boxes of quarters, and 6 boxes of dimes, please. Weekly."

Not to mention TimZim would be collecting disability for that bad back.

Had the mint made 40% silver dimes and quarters 1965-70 it probably would have reduced coin hoarding (then) and meant more use of 40% silver half dollars in circulation.

I do have a serious question about this. Why is it that 1965 66 , 67,68... Dimes and quarters somewhat resemble silver. Not necessarily the rim but front and back?
 

I would of been saving all the 1965 dimes and quarters I find instead of throwing them..
 

Better yet if some of those solid 2012 dime boxes that get returned upon a glance were all 2012S silver proofs
