What is it?

[Threshold]

Hello. A long while back I found this buried in my moms yard while digging some dirt up. Any idea as to what it could be? It is metallic and pretty light. I had chipped a little piece off for myself and had given it to my grandpa where it still resides.

Slag of some sort.. iron, aluminum, etc

Like from a manufacturing process? Man made then?

Yep, looks like slag alright. How big is that piece?

[yakker]

weight, dimensions, different angles? All good things to know before attempting to guess more than what's already been said. Odd you'd find it in your yard, but who knows... Yakker
