What is your favorite coin found through a CRH

Just curious to see what you guys think the best coin you have found is. Doesn't have to be your most expensive coin, just the one you like best. So far I think mine would be my first buffalo coin with a full date. I just started CRHing this year so I havent found any 1800's coins yet or even any from the teens/twenties. The buffalo is a 1937, full clear date, no mint...all the legs are there, but so far that is the oldest coin I have found. I know it's not worth a ton but I love the buffalo nickels and before finding that one I found 25ish dateless/partial date buffalos so finding that one was pretty cool for me.

Anyway, just wanted to see what your favorite coin is. I know some of you guys who have been at it for a long time probably have some really cool stuff tucked away in folders or something. HH!

I know you no longer have this in your posession since its technically illegal to own a counterfeit...but lets just say you decided to keep it, and you were going to get a quote on how much its worth, what do you think it would be?

As far as I know it is not illegal to own counterfeit coins (that is what I collect) It is illegal to sell them. That is why my coin dealer gave me a 1909 S VDB cent.

My most recent counterfeit coin is a 1500 something Hungarian silver coin, I bought a bunch of old silver coins at a yard sale. Two of these were in the batch. When I compared the two one was definately a hammered coin the other looked cast.

My favorite coin would have to be a 2009-S 95% Copper proof cent, lincoln Indiana Years(Lincoln sitting on a log reading), is my second proof penny ever, and a 2009-S type set 95% copper proof too... since 1982, proof cents have been zinc, but 2009 was the exception, with the 4 new designs released, only the proof ones were copper.

I found this one before I was ever on this forum.. The teller I was being helped by actually knew it was collectable but it was offered to be by another teller when she heard me ask for "large dollar coins." The teller who was helping me was not too happy that her coworker did not inform her of the coin.. lol... If ya snooze ya loose.. My win...

It was sitting in a tellers tray and she asked if I wanted it. Not worth that much $35-$60 but a cool coin. I've picked up others at pawn shops for decent prices but this one for face value was quite the deal.

ASEs, morgans, and peace dollars are more common through teller trays than this puppy.

Pretty impressive considering there are only about 150 of those known to exist.
Depending on the condition, that coin is worth more than the average person makes in an entire year; in mint state it is worth nearly a million bucks.
