just a thought...

Can anyone find any info on Ed Jernigan in a census for Breckenridge it might show his occupation?

The only census available that would have occupation is 1930 - he would be about 24. I am having a heck of a time finding him. He would have been newly married and possibly even living in Oklahoma (his SS was issued there). I found his mother and his siblings living with her in Breckenridge but I have not been able to find him.

I did find an Abilene newspaper record from 1939 which shows Ed Jernigan of Breckenridge was in a GOLF competition.

Also this directory from New Iberia, LA 1957

The original posted obituary states he was working for the Ashland chemical co and then manager of their Ivanhoe plant in new Iberia.
If that means anything to anyone?
